System Selection Guide

Answer the questions below for a suggestion on which product would be best for your lab.

[Starting Question]
What is your application ?

BTX has been in the forefront of electroporation technology since introducing the first commercial Electroporator in 1983. We have continued to design electroporation and electrofusion systems for virtually every application including the broadest selection of in vivo and in vivo accessories and electrodes.

BTX generally recommends a system that has a square waveform for mammalian cell work and an exponential decay waveform for bacteria, plant cells, insect cells and yeast applications. However, there can be application specific exceptions. We highly recommend that you consult our Technical Resources, use the ‘System Selection Guide’ or contact us to guide you to the most appropriate system, accessories and protocols for your work.
