ELECTROPORATION GENERATORS

The ECM 399 – An economic exponential decay wave generator designed to produce the ideal pulse length for basic transformation of gram – bacteria in cuvettes utilizing the PEP, personal electroporation pack. 

The ECM 630 – An  advanced exponential decay wave generator boasting adjustable capacitance and resistance settings for a wide range of time constants options required for the transformation of both gram + and gram – bacteria, yeast and some mammalian cells.  The ECM 630 accommodates cuvettes in the 630B Safety Stand or 96 well electroporation plates in the HT Plate Handler

The ECM 830 – A flexible square wave electroporation generator designed for all in vitro and in vivo mammalian cell electroporation applications. The ECM 830 accommodates cuvettes in the 630B Safety Stand, 96 well electroporation plates in the HT Plate Handler, designated specialty electrodes, and the 1250FS foot switch for hands free operation.

The Agile Pulse In Vivo – A unique square wave pulse generator, offering dual-phase pulsing options for maximum efficiency DNA vaccination delivery applications.  The Agile Pulse In Vivo accommodates multi needle array electrodes as well as other designated specialty electrodes, and a foot switch for hands free operation.

The Agile Pulse MAX -  An ingenuous square wave pulse generator developed for large volume sample (2ml to 20ml) transfection of mammalian cells. The Agile Pulse MAX offers dual-phase pulsing options for maximum cell transfection efficiencies and viabilities.

The Agile Pulse HT -  An remarkable square wave pulse generator developed for large volume sample (50ml to 1000ml) transfection of mammalian cells. The Agile Pulse HT offers dual-phase pulsing options for maximum cell transfection efficiencies and viabilities.

ELECTROFUSION GENERATORS

The ECM 2001 -   A multipurpose square wave pulse generator capable of performing both electrofusion for hybridoma production, hybrid cell formation and nuclear transfer applications in addition to electroporation of cells in suspension and in vivo applications. Incorporating an a pre and post fusion AC oscillating wave form in addition to its DC square wave to align cells and maintain compression during cell fusion.  The ECM 2001 accommodates cuvettes in the 630B Safety Stand, Microslides, designated specialty electrodes, and the 2001 FS foot switch for hands free operation.

The Hybrimune -  An advanced square wave electrofusion solution for fast, efficient cell fusion in hybridoma production, hybrid cell formation or nuclear transfer applications.  The Hybrimune™ system includes an innovative fusion chamber design, proprietary Cytofusion® medium and sophisticated, tri-phasic electric field pulses that quickly position cells and disrupt cell membranes for maximum cell fusion efficiency with short cycle-times and minimal heating or turbulence for excellent cell viability. 

CUVETTES

BTX Cuvettes Plus -  Round cap, color coded electroporation cuvettes with polished aluminum electrodes, sterilized and packaged with a sterile transfer pipette available 3 gap sizes; 1mm, 2mm and 4mm.

SPECIALTY ELECTRODES

BTX offers a myriad of specialty electrodes for various applications

• Tweezertrodes – Tweezer style electrodes available in either stainless steal or platinum disc in the following diameters, 1mm, 3mm, 5mm, 7mm, and 10mm.
• Needle Arrays – Stainless steel needle style electrodes available in the following arrays, 2 needle, 4 needle*, 6 needle* and 8 needle* available in a variety of gaps and needle lengths. * Note that 4, 6 and 8 needle arrays are only available for use with the Agile Pulse In Vivo system.

BTXpress Cytoporation Media T & T4 – Advanced electroporation buffer designed for use with the Agile Pulse MAX.  This low conductivity buffer minimizes the heating of solution during large volume electroporation for maximum transfection efficiencies and viabilities.

BTXpress Cytofusion Buffer – A proprietary low conductance fusion buffer designed to reduce cell turbulence during the aligning process encouraging robust cell fusion.
